2008 is our 14^th Annual Event!  We feel this year will be our best ever!  Last year we set a record of over 300 vehicles.  We hope to beat that record in 2008! The park will handle around 400 vehicles in the shade. All vehicles are welcome. We have award classes for everyone as we use Picks and fun type awards, it’s almost guaranteed that you vehicle will fit into our categories or if we catch you sleepin’ we may have an award for you also. It’s a low profile lets have fun kickin’ back in Carson City show

We have many exciting activities and functions planned.  We begin with a kick-off party on Thursday evening, July 31, at the Plaza Hotel.  It’s always great fun!

Thursday-July 31
6 pm Early arrival party, Show ‘n Shine, Music & Spirits.
Hosted by the Plaza Hotel & Conference Center,

FRIDAY-August 1
11 am - 6 pm Registration at the Nugget Casino. (Upstairs)
5 pm - 6:30 pm Welcome Party at the Nugget - Complimentary
Hors d’oeuvres. (SDCC Registered Participants Only)
7 pm - 11 pm Carson Nugget Street Dance & Show ‘n Shine
 

SATURDAY-August 2
8 am - 10:30 pm Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
8 am - 11 am Registration at Mills Park
8 am - 4 pm Show ‘n Shine, Music, Food & Vendors
10 am - 4 pm Judging
 

SUNDAY-August 3
8 am - 12 pm Million Dollar Poker Run
11 am - 1 pm Millard’s Great Fixins’ BBQ
1 pm Awards Ceremony
 

CRUISE NIGHTS
6 TO 8 P.M.

Dwight and his crew serve up some great food and spirits all at 50’s pricing and then we do Dwight’s cruise where we send everyone down the middle of Carson City to show off the rides.  Registration begins on Friday at the Nugget Casino.  That afternoon, the Nugget will host a heartwarming appetizer welcoming party for registered participants.  In the evening, we move over to the Nugget’s West Parking Lot for a heel kickin’ dance and show & shine with live entertainment from ‘Route 66’.

Come to Mills Park on Saturday morning for further registration and that mouth watering breakfast hosted by the Dayton Kiwanis.  Show ‘n shine all day at the park with judging from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 Sunday starts with a million dollar poker run.  A fantastic ‘thanks for joining us’ barbecue is hosted by Empire Ranch Golf Course.  Awards begin at 1:00 p.m.
