hours is the Swap Meet Office open? |

Wednesday,
August 6, Noon to 5 p.m. Thursday,
August 7 and Friday, August 8, 6 a.m. to
5 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 6 a.m. to 6
p.m. Sunday, August 10, 7 a.m. to 10
a.m. for sales tax payments. |

type items may I sell? |
|
MUST BE AUTO
RELATED or genuine pre-1972 nostalgia
only. No calendar girls, vulgar
products/services or signs, food,
beverage, crafts, flea market items,
drug paraphernalia, knives, guns,
plants, novelty flags or blankets, new
toys or any other items deemed
unacceptable will be allowed. |

| What
types of spaces are available? |
Outdoor
spaces are available in the open area as
well as covered areas in the Pavilion or
Cutting Arena.
Vendor spaces are available indoors in
the Nostalgia Fair. |

| When
do I set-up? |
|
Set-up is
Wednesday, August 6, AFTER 3 p.m.
|
|
| May I
be open on set-up day? |
|
NO swapping
on set-up day. |
|
| When
is tear-down? |
|
You must
vacate spaces by Sunday, August 10 at
noon. |
|
| Is
there a space preference? |
|
Previous
vendors have first choice of their
previous year spaces until April 30.
Space assignments depend on seniority,
date order received and number of spaces
ordered. |
|
| Can I
get a space on the isle? |
|
End spaces
are virtually impossible to get. |
|
| What
happens if I don’t show up at the event? |
|
We reserve
the right to re-sell spaces not occupied
by Thursday, August 7 at 8 a.m. No shows
relinquish preference rights. |
|
| Will
I receive a refund if I can’t attend? |
|
No refunds
will be made once WPE has received
payment. |
|
| Will
I receive any passes with my space? |
|
Each vendor
will receive two passes. |
|
| Are
extra passes available? |
|
Extra passes
will be available for purchase at the
Swap Office. |
|
| What
about generators or other noise causing
equipment? |
|
No noisy
generators. Excessive stereo display
noise is not allowed. Objectionable
sound & lyrics will not be tolerated. |
|
| What
should I do if there is inclement
weather? |
|
Make sure
that your merchandise and
EZ-Ups
are secured for afternoon wind gusts. |
|
| Can I
get around the premises on my scooter? |
|
Scooters,
golf carts, mopeds, skateboards, skates,
bicycles or motorcycles are NOT
permitted on RLEC Swap Meet Grounds. |

| Can I
use a scooter if I am handicap? |
|
Single
Occupancy Handicap (ADA) Approved
Scooters will be allowed for handicapped
individuals. |
|
| As a
vendor, do I charge Nevada Sales Tax? |
|
Nevada Sales
Tax is 7.375%. WPE will supply you with
a Nevada Sales Tax Form. This form and
your sales tax must be returned to the
Swap Office no later than 10 a.m. on
Sunday, August 10. |

| Are
there other City or State Fees? |
|
There is a
$20 City of Reno License fee per vendor.
Add this amount to fees as shown on the
vendor application. |
|
| Is
there power available in the spaces? |
|
Power is
available in the Pavilion and Cutting
Arena only. |
|
| Is
security provided? |
|
Security is
provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday. |
|
| Can I
purchase vendor space at the gate? |
|
Space may be
purchased at the Swap Office. There will
be an additional $20 administration fee. |
|
| Can I
stay in my space overnight? |
|
Overnight
camping in your vendor space is
permitted. (No fires allowed.) |
|
| Are
hotel rooms available? |
|
